[Link] | spent the weekend recording a cd which was cool. i love recordings. it's so much less stressful than concerts because you don't have to worry about how you look and you can correct your mistakes.
recording is weird. it's probably the most boring, fun, exciting, mind-numbingly frustrating, tiring and rewarding thing i've ever done.
this will be the third cd i've recorded with cantate, probably out around christmas. we ran out of time at the end though so had to miss out two songs because it took so long to get both choirs near mics for ave maria and then we had to do loads of patches because everyone gets so tired that we make mistakes. it was freezing cold in the church too, as the heating made too much noise to keep it on, so between songs we turned on these huge calor gas heaters which stank of gas and blew out hot air (and flames) right into our faces.
recording in a church 3 miles from stansted airport is a bad plan. bloody aeroplanes ruined about 10 takes over the two days.

welcome to the jungle
so... i finally got around to starting a journal, only i can't work out how to make it look nice or anything. i am such a computer retard.
i haven't decided yet how much i'm going to write here, i may end up spewing random crap about my life at all hours of the day and night or i may just use it to spy on my friends (if they don't mind) or join communities. if i do write much it will probably be friends-only because i know too many people who have journals who i don't want to read what i say.
